It's natural to compare Batman to Super Man and announce that Batman is better because he's a mere man.
But what about Batman VS The Punisher? Punisher is a man who gets the job done -and by that, I mean killing lots of bad guys! The best Batman can do is catch the bad guys, they get put away, break out again and cause more havoc, and the cycle continues. But hey, both very different characters.

Batman and Iron Man are largely the same basic template: rich playboys who use money they were born with and their smarts and will to enhance their abilities by making and using technology suits.
The vast majority of superheroes follow a nobility theme: they were born into their powers, like superman, or they were the victims of accidents, like spiderman, or subjected to experiments of big organizations beyond their will, like wolverine. There are very few actual superheros that fully embody the theme of self-creation via self-directed will, (informed of course by culture and experience) but Batman does it better than any others that I know if (regardless of the nobility theme in the batman story of bruce wayne being born wealthy(<just like tony stark in iron man>) So thats why Batman is one of the best |
