I do not disagree, Batman is the best.

well batman isn't the only hero with a troubled past, look at wolverine(doesn't know his own past), spider man (his uncle was killed), DareDevil (blind) and thats just the begining.

i agree .... but BATMAN is some different from other superheros.....

Batman is my personal favorite probably because of the setting he's in. It's dark and sinister. And I love martial arts and he knows them all. I'm just lured in by the darkness he lives every night. And why are we comparing Batman to Marvel when he's DC? Just wondering...

Batman has motivation, realism, and is in a perfect setting for a superhero. Also, batman has sacrificed a normal life for the protection of gotham to a point higher then anyover hero.

batman is the best coz he has no powers but unlike all the other showboating dc characters he has a brain he can outsmart evry single one of them and all the marvel ones too that goes without saying marvel is for kids(you are quite welcome to disagree and i will say i do like marvel it just doesnt have the level of maturity dc does and if anyone even mentions the punisher or someone similar they dont get my point maturity isnt about blood voilence etc read more dc u will understand anyway.....)

batman vs superman= kryptonite in the utilty belt
batman vs green lantern = sone kind of yellow spray(hey im not batman lol he is the one with the brains)
but anyway the list is endless to save me alot of time i reccomend all of u watch The Batman Lost heroes part 1 and 2 to see just how prepared batman is in the eventuality that one of the justice leaugue turns bad he is ready to take on anyone he can take on anyone he can be beaten but he will always try and thats why he is the best anyway anyone that says batmans power is being rich i wish he had a story like green arrow quiver ( which is written by kevin smith for any of u jay and silent bob fans out there hope that encourages u to read it) in that story green arrow a similar hero to batman if u will with a very different personality and not as smart looses his money dont wanna ruin whole story coz its fantastic but at one point he has no money and makes his trick arrows out of junk so im sure the more intelligent batman could manag without money

It's natural to compare Batman to Super Man and announce that Batman is better because he's a mere man.

But what about Batman VS The Punisher?

Punisher is a man who gets the job done -and by that, I mean killing lots of bad guys!
The best Batman can do is catch the bad guys, they get put away, break out again and cause more havoc, and the cycle continues.

But hey, both very different characters.

Batman and Iron Man are largely the same basic template: rich playboys who use money they were born with and their smarts and will to enhance their abilities by making and using technology suits.
The vast majority of superheroes follow a nobility theme: they were born into their powers, like superman, or they were the victims of accidents, like spiderman, or subjected to experiments of big organizations beyond their will, like wolverine.
There are very few actual superheros that fully embody the theme of self-creation via self-directed will, (informed of course by culture and experience) but Batman does it better than any others that I know if (regardless of the nobility theme in the batman story of bruce wayne being born wealthy(<just like tony stark in iron man>)
So thats why Batman is one of the best
