Alot of people are saying what heros and stuff should be in the dark knight sequel but are they even planning it? and the ending of this movie (http://www.buydvdezy.com) doesn't seems totolly over ...
There will definitely be a sequel released in 2011. The only info we can bank on so far is that Penguin will NOT be in it. Bale, Freeman, Caine, Oldman, and even Eckhart (though unlikely to be called in) have all expressed that they're in if Nolan's in. Read my sig for my future general casting wishlist (constantly updated because I rarely know what I'm talking about).

I know filming starts in 2010! And Bale said in an interview that he would not do another Batman movie if there was going to be a Robin so I doubt there will be.

I still don't think it being made yet, Ive just heard rumors. I know a couple sites have stated people signing on but they are the ones that have already signed on by contract, like bale, freeman etc. (at least thats the way I understand it).
But to answer your question, yes they will and within the next year it should be filming. The movie just made toooooo much money to not get another one going. Im pretty sure nolan will direct and bale has to be in it.

Just curious why you don't think eckhart will be called. I have been wodering if he'd be in the next one myself. I would think that he should at least have a few appearances in this movie, maybe hes still halfway good, just to prep him for a future movie. What do you think.

I love the idea of bringing back Eckhart/Dent! Unfortunately, Eckhart insists that Nolan made it very clear to him that he would not be returning after TDK. I REALLY hope he's changed his mind. Eckhart, on the other hand, says he'll do it if he's called, so... There's a vid on Youtube of him saying all this.

The script for The Dark Knight is pretty clear about the fate of Harvey Dent/Two-Face:
"It's a long read at 167 pages, but fans looking for confirmation on the fate of Dent need only look at page 163.
"Dent lies at the bottom of the hole, his neck broken," the stage direction, written by brothers Jonathan and Christopher Nolan, reads. "DEAD." (Capital letters their emphasis, not ours.)"

the thing is it may be stated in the script but was never stated in the movie.

Alright, if you insist on being led around by your hand and have everything confirmed for you. Allow me to hold your hand through this one.

The TLDR version, quoted from the above linked article:
"I [Aaron Eckhart] asked Chris [Nolan] if there was a chance of [Harvey/Two-Face] coming back. 'No way,' he said. 'He's toast.'"
It is interesting to note that this was reported a year ago, yet people refuse to believe it today.

It's called holding out hope. People do change their minds sometimes.

I agree, I too am holding out, He said dead, though not that he couldn't be in the movie. There is a lot of stuff they could do to keep him in it. Like flashbacks or something.

Well of course they're going to continue with the franchise, I mean just because Ledger died doesn't mean they're just going to not make anymore Batman movies. Look, not only will they continue but I suspect they'll end up having to get someone to replace Ledger and play the Joker since he's such an important character. I have NO idea who that would be, but god help them if they screw it up...
