I was watching Batman Begins the other night and I saw Batman cocking his grapple gun on the top, but then I saw a picture of the grapple gun up close and it has something that looks like a pump like the kind you can see on a pump action shotgun. So Which way is it supposed to be cocked?

Looks like a continuity error. It was '89 after all.

Sorry. There are bigger goofs with that movie than a gun switch. Like say, a cartoon Joker falling from the helicopter. What the hell was that? How does one get to that part in the editting and go "Ehhhh, that's close enough."

LOL I'm not sure. I just wish we had that tech now. The only type we have is the size of a bazooka or thrown. A group of people are making one the size that he has. Personally though I do a sport called buildering so when it comes to it I can climb instead of grapple.
