So does that mean Ghul will return since his body "was never found" either?

you didn't listen to batman begins closely did you as it just like the comics tells you that ra's al ghul is immortal so yes he could be back.

Actually Ra's Al Ghul has these Lazarus Pits that revive him whenever he "dies" in the comics. Coincidently Edward Nigma (the Riddler) supposedly uses them to get rid of his cancer, I believe it is.
And I don't think the Joker really lied. He said the right addresses, just said them in the wrong order so that the cops end up trying to get to Rachel, and Batman ending up finding Harvey. And yes I think they both died. The explosion happens just behind Rachel and Harvey broke his neck. It'd be hard to find your body if it's been blown to bits. The most plausible new movie I could think of would be a new Riddler....more darker and intelligent than the Jim Carrey one (though I loved that movie).

yes the explosion happened behind rachel but what if it was a building or so behind her,she was on a roof remember.TWO FACE IS NOT DEAD,they would not kill off such a big villian. and yes you were right about the lazerous pits in the comics, glad to see another comic fan here as I was getting tired if arguing with people who have seen 1 batman movie and think they know eveything about the character but have never read a comic.

Well, according to what I've heard, there is most likely going to be another Batman movie. So if there is, I would guess that there would be a different major villain, like the Riddler. He might show up as a side villain like he did in the Dark Knight. Of course, the next movie could make Two-Face be the main villain. You never know. As for Rachel Dawes becoming Catwoman, I doubt they would do that. Selina Kyle would be Catwoman.

Sorry to break it to you, but Christopher Nolan had said that Two Face had died in The Dark Knight movie. As far as Rachel still being alive... It's a long shot but it IS possible. But knowing the ruthlessness of the Joker, I'm almost certain that he meant to kill her.
When he was being interrogated by Batman, he intentionally gave him the wrong addresses for both because he knew batman was going to save Rachel. Smart guy I say....

no she can't be alive and even if she was she wouldn't become catwoman because she isn't Selina Kyle.

This is embarrassing. In this thread, I've read a couple of interesting points that keep getting shot down with childish neglect. Stop being so negative! I would LOVE this forum to actually fill with intelligent debate and constructive criticism.
I think it's fascinating that "Rachel Dawes might not be dead because we never found her body and maybe she was close enough to the explosion but NOT in it [paraphrasing]." That being said, while I don't follow the whole nope-she's-dead argument, I'll say that I personally find it hard to believe that they'll bring her back in any capacity whatsoever. There are many logical reasons not to. Most importantly, it would severely weaken the impact of her death in TDK as well as the theme of consequences for Bruce/Batman throughout his journeys. I just don't see one decent reason to bring her back. For that reason, I HOPE she's dead. (Morbid, huh?) As for Two-Face, regardless of what ANYONE says, even Nolan and Goyer themselves, we can ALWAYS bring TF back. Forget him for now, though. I predict he is important enough surely to be brought back when the new director takes over for Nolan. My hope for the next 3-film act? Frank Miller. Bring back TF and Joker then. For now, we need impressive surprises and THAT means possibly resurrecting a character or two we may not like too much right now - Catwoman and/or Robin. Start getting over it RIGHT NOW, nay-sayers. These two imparticular are as crucial to Batman's being as Alfred or Bruce Wayne himself. I don't think I'm exaggerating either. Get used to it. Sooner or later, SOMEBODY has to do these characters justice. If Nolan only has one more batchapter left in him, I think we'd all be highly impressed with how he handles them, redefines them, recasts them, and integrates them into his vision of Gotham. Remember, it's all about the story. Not O'Donnell. Not Clooney. Not Schumaker. Not Burton. Not West. The story. Does the story kick ass? Nolan has earned my faith for now. |

Null isn't even know what you is talking about. How can you even say Nolan has earned your faith. Thats is just too much ignorance than I can't handle. You isn't even as smart enough as much as a goldfish with only a memory thats is three seconds. You has truly reached your pintacle of ignorance. Don'ts even try to call us ne-sayers when the things you say are as negative things too though.
