Hi!
Among the many notable sequences in Batman Returns, I've always thought a really ambiguous one is when Catwoman and Batman end up on the narrow terrace at the end of their first fight. What's really weird about this scene is Catwoman's approach to Batman when she runs her clawed hand on the batsuit... after having seen it a hundred times, it's clear that there's some kind of erotic connection between them but other elements remain obscure, so maybe your opinions might clear things... Do you think Catwoman was trying to probe the batsuit to find a weakness in it and disguised her viciuos trick by pretending to be physically attracted by Batman? Or was she actually excited by him and only accidentally find a weak spot in his armour? The same could be said about Batman: just before she stabs him, you can see him not only smiling, but also feeling a little bit of pleasure. Is this the proof that Catwoman was deliberately pressing her claws where the batsuit was thinner, making him relax before her last assault? Thanks for your opinions! ![]() Zkuit |

I always thought it was a bit of both... A bit of that sadistic kind of attraction where people (sometimes) like to hit/hurt one another... And she was pretty obviously looking for a weak spot in the suit
