HA HA HA
Lynne and Terry Garlik's 'Bat' finally sold to London motor museum. Good start then went all to hell on the details (no gun doors, nose and front turbine all wrong, side mechanics a joke and interior all wrong, etc). They started with a good chassis and fibreglass 'kit' then it went all Pete Tong as the car neared completion. At least they bought the correct gas caps that I pointed them to.

Best bet if ya really are serious about owning a 'real' 89/92 is trying the folks at

www.chickslovethecar.com

(even if you dont want a screen accurate car). You'll find these boys know their onions....and are most helpfull too. Best Batmobile website ever. Tell DH the webmaster that I sent ya.
Hope it helps.
Mr A

Andy Smith's 'screen used' Tumbler. Yes the one in the movie.

Nate's 66 and Bob's Replicar Tumbler video (sadly speech is in German).

Been 'stalking' the builders for around 6 years now! I have spoken to Terry Ackland-Snow (Art Director on Batman), John Evans and Andy Smith (SFX engineers responsible for the two 89's). Thanks to John for the group pic and Andy for the Tumbler pic.

Seriously, check out www.chickslovethecar.com
